In the News: Walla Walla Steak Co. & Crossbuck Brewing Will Anchor Woodinville’s Schoolhouse District Project
February 1, 2021
Walla Walla Steak Co. and Crossbuck Brewing, a popular steakhouse and taproom dual concept from the founders of El Gaucho, will become the anchor restaurants inside Woodinville's Historic Schoolhouse No. 23. The two-story 13,000 SF space is part of a 5-acre development called the Schoolhouse District. The newly restored historic schoolhouse building, built-in 1909, will have a similar feel to the original Walla Walla restaurant. The Woodinville space will utilize exposed brick and rustic wood interiors, as well as salvaged historical elements of the Schoolhouse. It will feature steakhouse classics and beer-friendly taproom fare in an open kitchen over a custom charcoal grill and wood stone oven, private dining rooms, and a large outdoor seating area overlooking the fields.
The steakhouse and brewery are expected to open in the first quarter of 2022. Kelly Gaddis of NAI Puget Sound Properties represented the tenant in this transaction.
