Success Story: NAI PSP Represents Walter E. Nelson in Industrial Owner-User Dual Transaction

NAI Puget Sound Properties brokers Jeff Forsberg, Bret Matysik, and Arie Salomon represented Walter E. Nelson’s owner in both selling their current property and buying a new property that could accommodate the company’s growth.

The timeframe on this dual transaction allowed the client to qualify for a 1031 Tax Deferred Exchange, while expanding into the larger space. As a transaction like this is uncommon in the industrial market, it became a rewarding challenge for the NAI PSP team. Both deals closed in January for a combined value of $56.1 million.
